A subreport item can be created by selecting the "New" option in the report item radial menu (right-click on a report item) and then choosing "New Subreport Item for this Report Item."

You can add subreport items to each main report item.

• Subreport items are directly associated with a main report item and follow a specific numbering logic that combines the main report item number with a sequential letter. For example, if the main report item is numbered 001.003, the first subreport item will be labeled as 001.003.a, the next as 001.003.b, and this sequence continues for further subreport items.
  

  

The status of subreport items can be set independently of the main report item. This means that a main report item can remain "open," while individual subreport items can be marked as "completed."

• If you set the main report item to "completed," all associated subreport items will automatically be marked as "completed" as well.
